Hotel on the Cay
In March 2024, Cindy and I traveled to Christiansted, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and stayed at the Hotel on the Cay. We honeymooned nearby 37 years ago and this was a reprise of that event.
The Hotel on the Cay was built in 1965 on Protestant Cay, a four-acre island in Christiansted Harbor. A two-minute ferry ride transported us between Christiansted and the hotel. The island is home to the St. Croix Lizard, a relative of the Iguana, and is only found there.

We explored the town of Christiansted and its National Historic Site.
We especially enjoyed the town's boardwalk and ate at most of the restaurants.
It was a wonderful experience!
